NEENAH — The city and Checker Logistics Inc. have struck a deal to bring a $24 million, 600,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility to the Southpark Industrial Center.

The development will be built on 33 acres of land at the northeast corner of Dixie and Muttart Roads. Checker Logistics, a subset of RGL Logistics of Green Bay, already has a distribution facility across the street at 1725 Dixie Road.

Chris Haese, Neenah’s director of community development, said the development has been a long time coming.

“This is a property that we have been marketing for some time, over 20 years,” Haese told The Post-Crescent, “so we’re happy to see interest in the site. It will have a significant impact on our tax base.”
